Kia has come a long way with installations and operations running in 160 countries from the time of building cycles in 1944. The other major impact that Kia made in the international market was the one in the US, when mustang cars were being obligatorily modified owing to economic and oil crises. The modifications had to come by in a fashion that suited buyers who would be frugal about fuel expenditure. Some of the major gas station companies in America had to close down since they had no way to sell gas without it’s availability in the oil crisis days.

Influence on the international market in the 1980’s

While mustangs had the influence of keeping the hood long on most car manufacturers I the world, Kia made sure that their fuel efficient models made selling tough for makers like Chevrolet, Ford and Chrysler. Kia had a great run with their fuel efficiency strategy in the UK, where even sports car buyers would rather prefer to own cars like Pride, Concord and Potentia. Amongst these, Kia Pride has been the more popular name after Ford brought it to the US in the late 1980’s.

Dealer shops and second hand buys

Dealer shops under KMA and KME come from various cities, located in all states in the US and most major cities in Europe. The Kia cars are also known to be good deals as second hand buy. The belief is that the lighter bodies cars which are built to handle long term wear and tear proves to be better deals for someone looking at a minimal expenditure on a vehicle that will last him a considerable length of time. You could easily get the high end Kia cars within $5,000 in most second-hand markets.
